Your ADHD retreat is all-inclusive
Every woman at the retreat receives the same luxurious retreat package:
- Six days, five nights at the stunning Southern Splendor estate
- Private king or queen bedroom (with one exception – there is an enormous double room with two queen beds)
- All linens and towels provided (beds made when you arrive)
- Three retreat sessions per day: morning, afternoon, evening
- Private coaching session with Linda Roggli or Jen Raphael (certified ADHD coaches)
- Retreat materials and gifts
- All meals and snacks, usually organic and adjusted to your special diet if needed (gluten free, dairy free, etc)
- Full body massage (or partial, your choice)
- Evening on the town at a favorite Chapel Hill or Durham restaurant
- Full featured exercise and workout facilities on site
- Two tennis courts – one outdoor, one indoor
- Pool and spa (hot tub) available 24 hours a day
- Complete privacy throughout the week
- A no-shame, no judgment, acknowledging and supportive atmosphere from the very first session to the final goodbye
- ADHD women who are literally like-minded and who understand (and experience) lives similar to your own ADHD life
The price of the retreat includes a base cost that is uniform for everyone. The only difference in price is the bedroom you choose.
Rooms in the main house with a private ensuite bath are more expensive than rooms in the lower level with a shared bath.
Rooms in the Carriage House are less expensive simply because they are less convenient (although the two buildings are just a few yards apart) and they have shared baths.
You may make monthly payments with no interest charges. The sooner you register, the lower the payments. Of course, your retreat should be paid in full before you arrive at Southern Splendor in June.

Which bedroom speaks to you at Southern Splendor Manor?
There is a wide variety of bedrooms at Southern Splendor Manor. All bedrooms are private with one exception – two queen beds share an enormous room in the Main House.
Bedrooms at the retreat are priced according to location and amenities. Some rooms have ensuite baths, others share a bath. It all works out for everyone!
Seven bedrooms are in the Main House plus Linda’s room. Three bedrooms are in the Carriage House (four if you count Coach Jen’s room). The Carriage House is located just steps away from the Main House and there is a covered walkway part of the way and a tunnel that connects the two buildings!
Regardless of where you land room-wise, the entire retreat is all about being together. You likely won’t spend too much time in your bedroom. If you need some solitude, in addition to your room, there are plenty of space to walk, sit quietly, soak in the hot tub, etc.
We set firm quiet time hours to honor everyone’s need for sleep and respite.
Important note: although Linda tries to make sure her retreats are accessible, unfortunately, this property does not have an elevator. However, there are first level bedrooms in the Carriage House. We can provide golf cart transportation for outside access to all points on the property. All retreat sessions will be held in locations available to all.

Bedroom #1 is at the top of the dramatic staircase in the main house. The comfortable king bed is adjacent to two charming apothecary chests. But there is even more storage in the single, walk-in closet. Hardwood floors and a flat screen TV complete the decor. Views are to the side of the house and overlook the estate.
The adjoining Jack ‘n’ Jill bath is shared with Bedroom #2.

This is the only room that is semi-private – two women will share a spacious room on the 2nd floor of the Main House. The two queen beds are outfitted with comfortable spreads and pillows.
Of special note is the wall of storage with sparkly pulls, PLUS a walk-in closet. The adjacent Jack ‘n’ Jill bath is luxurious with a huge walk in marble shower (rain shower, too), shared with Bedroom #1.

Inviting king bed in a spacious room with stunning views of the pool area and back garden. Many of the rooms at Southern Splendor were originally designated for other activities so there is no closet in this bedroom, but there is plenty of storage (and we provide hanging space for you). Shared bath with bedrooms 6 & 7.
Adjacent to the game room via pocket doors, it has navy curtains for privacy. It is also near the full laundry and theater.

Bedroom #6 is the identical twin to Bedroom #5 – just on the opposite side of the lower level family room. Same wonderful view of the pool area (with easy access!). This room was formerly an activity room, so there is no closet but plenty of storage in the dresser and we provide hanging storage. Nice ceiling fan keeps you cool on hot summer nights.
Bedroom #6 overlooks the calming pool area and is nestled near the up-to-date laundry area and game room.

Queen sleigh bed welcomes you to Bedroom #7 and there are several surprises, too. This room formerly was the snack center, so there is mini-kitchen with sink and dishwasher in one nook. Since the room is so large, the owners added two twin beds into the space – great for storage since this is a private room.
One more detail – it has direct access to the game room and pool area. Pocket doors close off the space and dark navy curtains provide privacy. The room sits squarely in the center of this space and is convenient to the full laundry and theater room.

Spacious Bedroom 8 features a comfy queen bed, with not one but two cushy chairs (including a recliner), flat screen TV and full dresser. This room was a “converted” room so there is not a standard closet, but hanging space will. be provided. The bathroom with walk-in shower is shared with BR#8.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This bedroom has shared access. Coach Jen will stay in the bedroom that opens into BR #10, so there will be some privacy issues. She will need to cross through this room to reach hers. Of course, there are doors to both rooms.
This is the main level of Carriage House and requires only a a few steps up to the front door.

The smallest and most cozy of all the bedrooms at Southern Splendor, this queen bedroom was an efficient office in a former life. Thus it makes sense that it is the only room with a desk!
Naturally, there is room for a flat screen TV, full dresser and plenty of drawer storage. We will provide hanging storage, too.
This is the main level of Carriage House and requires only a a few steps up to the front door.

Bedroom #10 is the only king suite at Carriage House with an ensuite private bath. It is located in the basement and has cool concrete floors (which you’ll appreciation in the hot June summer weather!). There is a soft rug under the bed. The finishes are more rustic here than in other rooms but casework is exquisite and the space is enormous!
Plus, you have use of the mini kitchen, a sink and oodles of storage. There is also direct access to the tunnel that connects Carriage House to the main house (you end up on the pool level of the Main House).
Note: there are no windows in this room and access is via one flight of stairs.
